Annual Cleaning Program
At least once a year the surface should be re-coated by a qualified applicator.
Generally one coat with an extra coat to hard wear areas such as keyways is sufficient.
Never let the seal wear down to expose raw timber - not only does this create a slip problem, but can result in costly refurbishment. In extreme cases it may be necessary to re-coat high traffic areas mid-year.
To allow for minimal downtime it is strongly suggested that spring, summer and autumn periods be considered for optimum drying and curing rates.
Ensure the surface is pre-washed with Axiom Sportclean prior to re-coating.
Do not attempt to apply sport floor coatings fewer than 10 degrees or over 35 degrees surface temperature
Allow adequate planning to ensure contractors are available - Remember your quiet period is their busy time
